Those innocent
cute babies
cradled in their
mother’s arms

sweet bundles
of delight
joys to behold

looking at those babies
in their
adorable innocence

it’s hard to
imagine what
a few of them

will grow up
to be

nearly unfathomable
to see or believe
that a few of them

out of thousands
probably millions

will grow up
to be serial killers

but alas some
innocent babies
do

their innocence
replaced with
malevolence

from sweet newborns
to the cruelest
of killers

from innocents to
the slayers of
innocents

mostly young
women

if there’s a God
that’s loving
which I believe
there is

how could that God
ever allow this?
