Imagine if there were no life after life.
\nNo heaven. no hell. no afterlife.
\nYour life just shut down like your computer.
\nAll the near death experiences,
\nall the visions and dreams,
\nsuggesting live continues
\ninto the afterlife
\nwere all illusionary.
\nAnd all that was you
\nerased forever.
\nI believe in what the NDEs tell us \u2013
\nlife goes on forever,
\nbut if we all die into nothingness
\nI\u2019ve reached a point in old age
\nwhere I\u2019d be okay with that.
\nI no longer fear obliteration.
\nI can now accept it easily.
\nI used to worry about it in my youth
\nuntil I realized there\u2019d be no me
\nto worry about if I died,
\nand the I that is me
\ndied forever.
\nNow that I\u2019m older
\nand my dying day is closer
\nI can accept the possibility
