An eccentric, his name was Henry Cope.
\nHe lived in northeast Hampshire, England
\nand had an obsession with the color green
\nand only ate green vegetables and fruits.<\/p>\n
He dressed in green impeccably and his
\napartment was painted green as well as
\nhaving a green sofa, green chairs,
\ngreen tables, a green bed and green curtains.<\/p>\n
His two-wheeled carriage was also green
\nalong with his riding gloves and whips.
\nAround his neck, he sported a green
\ncravat.<\/p>\n
He was said to have lost his wits from too
\nmuch studying or from his rejection by
\na beautiful woman he loved.<\/p>\n
He is thought to have died in 1810 in
\nSt Luke’s Hospital in Old Street London,
\na hospital for \u201cincurable pauper lunatics,\u201d
\nthough other theories about his death abound.<\/p>\n
Now he is one of 12-15 ghosts alleged to
\nhaunt Bramshill House in Hampshire, England.<\/p>\n
