I often wonder if love is ever after
\nDespite it seeming to end when lovers die.
\nDespite many wives and husbands finding new loves
\nwhen their husbands or wives pass away,
\nas if their loves were only temporary
\nand traded for other temporary loves.<\/p>\n
I don\u2019t blame those wives and husbands
\nfor finding new loves.
\nI’d probably do the same.
\nIt\u2019s a hard road living life on your own
\nwithout someone to love, and if love is
\nonly temporary, it doesn\u2019t matter anyway.<\/p>\n
Sure some stay the course married
\nor in love for the remainder of their days.
\nBut what happens after death?
\nIs romantic love dissolved into
\nunconditional love for everyone?
\nIs there no romantic love after death?
\nMy hope is romantic love is ever after,
\nand those who don\u2019t find true or lasting
\nlove in this temporary world find
\ntrue and lasting love in the afterlife.<\/p>\n
