Gifted Chinese poet Cu Gheng wrote poetry at an early age
\nOne of the rebellious, Misty Poets who didn\u2019t follow the CCP
\nRisked their lives writing poems that didn\u2019t align with the party line
\nHailed as a great poet writing innovative surrealist verse
\nCu Cheng had one major flaw. He was insanely controlling
\nAnd physically abusive to Xie Yi, his beautiful, Chinese wife
\nThough he may have loved her in some crazed, unloving way
\nHe murdered her with an ax and hung himself to death in 1993<\/p>\n
