\nmade of sandstone.<\/p>\n
Inverted stars on a few graves,
\nmistaken for pentagrams,
\nwhich is why the cemetery is
\nwrongly thought to have
\nevil witches buried in it.<\/p>\n
Some old Tent stone graves,
\ntwo long thin slabs propped up
\nagainst two triangular caps
\nat the ends, often with
\nheadstones \u2013 maybe to protect
\ncorpses from animals. Maybe
\njust tradition.<\/p>\n
Many people named Stamps
\nburied there, one named
\nStanford Stamps born in 1811,
\ndied in 1895, age 84. <\/p>\n
No witches, only about 80
\nregular people buried there.<\/p>\n
Many tombstones from the 1800s.
\nMore are new.<\/p>\n
No ghosts, maybe the Stamps
\nCemetery is too boring for them,
\nor the good religious mountain
\npeople all went to heaven
\ninstead of hanging around dead.<\/p>\n
Some old graves had flowers
\nin front of them. Many had coins
\non the tops of the tombstones.<\/p>\n
Perhaps the coins were symbols
\nof good luck in the afterlife.<\/p>\n
No one seems to mess with the
\ncoins, perhaps for fear
\nof being cursed or
\nout of profound respect
\nfor the dead.<\/p>\n
The cemetery is serene
\nwith only the sounds of
\nbirds chirping in the background.
\nPerhaps the birds are singing
\nsweet dirges for the dead.<\/p>\n
Got a good peaceful feeling
\nseeing that cemetery on YouTube,
\nwouldn’t mind being buried in a
\npeaceful cemetery like that
\nwhen I die.<\/p>\n
