Maybe you are more tolerant
\nand forgiving than I am
\nWhen it comes to insulting words
\nby someone you love, words that
\nsometimes can be the death knell
\nof a romantic relationship
\nor even a marriage.<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve never been one to suffer abuse,
\nSuffered too much of it in my youth,
\nWhich served me well later in life
\nWhen others tried to walk on me.<\/p>\n
I once had a wife, who disrespectfully
\nand undeservedly, said to me,
\n\u201cUse your fucking head.\u201d<\/p>\n
Unknown to her at that time,
\ndespite my reacting angrily to her
\nundeserved, disrespectful words,
\nthat sentence was the death knell of
\nour dying marriage that was
\non life support during that time.<\/p>\n
Though I was disappointed in her
\nfor valid reasons, never would
\nI have talked to her so disrespectfully.<\/p>\n
And with that single use your fucking head
\nsentence she lost my love and the
\nmarriage forever.<\/p>\n
