Until I began researching dragons
\nof different cultures
\ndays ago, I never knew Native
\nAmericans had dragons in their
\nculture.<\/p>\n
And that some of the symbolism
\nrelates to Protection, Power,
\nTransformation, and Traversing
\nRealms.<\/p>\n
This is why I have a Native
\nAmerican woman with a multi colored
\ndragon at the top of this blog now.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m kind of hoping it\u2019s my final
\nbanner or maybe I\u2019ll have a rotating
\nbanner with two or three other
\nrotating banners.<\/p>\n
But I\u2019m kind of hooked on this
\nNative American banner; I like
\nNative American things, and I
\nreally like how that banner looks.<\/p>\n
Been to powwows, listened to
\na Native American storyteller
\nlong ago in faraway Vermont,
\nvisited a Native American museum,
\nand did a presentation on
\nresources for the aging at a
\nNative American seniors group
\nhere in Greensboro years ago.<\/p>\n
And I feel it\u2019s critical to keep
\nthe Native American culture alive,
\nto never let it die.<\/p>\n
