I look in the mirror today
\nand see my hair that I\u2019ve
\nbeen combing and
\nbrushing back for couple
\nof weeks and letting

I\u2019m surprised at 80
\nthat I still have a full
\nhead of hair with no
\nbalding<\/p>\n
I\u2019m more surprised
\nat how bizarre it looks
\nlike Christopher Walken\u2019s
\nhair style way too high in
\nthe front<\/p>\n
I always wear a hat
\nwhen I go out
\nso it doesn\u2019t matter
\nwhen I\u2019m in public<\/p>\n
but I don\u2019t like my
\nhair looking freakish
\nlong on top<\/p>\n
It\u2019s not like I\u2019m
\nback in the greaser
\n60s<\/p>\n
I\u2019ll have to cut it
\nsoon<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve been cutting
\nmy hair successfully
\nfor 40 years<\/p>\n
When I was living
\nin Vermont 40 years ago
\nI saw a book in a library
\nthere with instructions
\nfor cutting your own
\nhair<\/p>\n
I said to myself then
\nthat I could do that
\nFortunately I was right
\nand I\u2019ve been cutting
\nmy hair for 40
\nyears<\/p>\n
and people I worked
\nwith were always
\nsurprised at how
\ngood it looked
\nfor self cut hair <\/p>\n
But I kind of
\ndon\u2019t feel like
\ncutting it yet<\/p>\n
Besides, I live
\nalone and no one
\nis going to see my
\ntop heavy hair so
\nto borrow from a
\nsong in the sixties
\nI guess I\u2019ll just
\nlet my freak flag fly
