i saw in the news that a 47-year-old man
\nwas gored by a bison at
\nyellowstone national park<\/p>\n
he was one lucky 47-year-old
\nhe only had minor injuries
\nafter being gored by an animal
\nnearly as heavy as a chevy
\nthat can run faster than
\none would imagine<\/p>\n
he got too close to the bison
\nwithin twenty-five yards<\/p>\n
according to the news
\nif you get that close to a
\nbehemoth bison it will defend
\nits space
\na scary thought<\/p>\n
i can understand how cool
\nit would be to pet a bison
\nand given the obsessions with
\nselfies nowadays, i can imagine
\nfor some people that
\nwould be uber cool <\/p>\n
as for me
\nif it is big, wild and potentially dangerous
\nno way am i going to get anywhere near it,
\nthough i’ve gotten within twenty-five yards
\nof women dangerous to my heart
\ni don’t risk the fragility of my life <\/p>\n
one or two people get too close to bison
\n(had to check the plural on that)
\nyearly in yellowstone national park
\ni can understand the lure
\nbison are beautiful animals
\nthat can seem docile and approachable
\nand it would be so cool to be able to pet one
\nwere that safe, i’d like to pet one myself<\/p>\n
