\nAll My Ex\u2019s Live in Texas sounded.<\/p>\n
I never had any ex\u2019s in Texas
\nnary a girlfriend nor a wife.<\/p>\n
But I\u2019ve been to Texas,
\nlived there 3 times: <\/p>\n
San Antonio<\/p>\n
Basic training in the Air Force,
\nhated basic training and didn\u2019t
\nreally get to see the city.<\/p>\n
Amarillo<\/p>\n
More training worse than basic.
\nYoung people in that city hated us,
\nand I hated them for trying to
\nbeat up airmen who visited the city. <\/p>\n
But, in retrospect, I can\u2019t blame them
\nfor hating us back then;
\nsome young servicemen away from
\nhome are drunk and disrespectful
\nand bring trouble to a city.<\/p>\n
Dallas<\/p>\n
In my experience, cool city with cool
\npeople.
\nDriving was crazy, like reckless cowboys,
\nbut after I adapted, I was liking it
\nas a young man who enjoyed the thrills
\nback then.<\/p>\n
Wasn\u2019t there long enough for an ex or a
\npermanent girlfriend or a wife. It
\nwould have been a cool western love
\naffair if I had with some romantic
\ncountry music song as our song,
\nlike “It’s Your Love” by
\nTim McGraw & Faith Hill.<\/p>\n
But I wouldn\u2019t have wanted a love
\nthat turned into an ex love there by my
\nchoice or hers.<\/p>\n
And I wish people never had
\nex’s in Texas and all over the world,
\nand that true love could always be true. <\/p>\n
