A young woman goes on a one mile run
\non the side of a country highway,
\n24, beautiful, a nurse tending the sick
\nin a small rural town, population 300.
\nA safe haven, hardly ever any crime.
\nThe young women never returns home
\nfrom her run.<\/p>\n
A search is conducted. She is not
\nfound.<\/p>\n
A man reports to the police that he
\nsaw her running at a specific location
\non the highway.<\/p>\n
Days later, her body is found buried
\nunder some leaves without her clothes.<\/p>\n
A day later, the police have a suspect.<\/p>\n
The man who reported seeing her on
\nthe highway.<\/p>\n
He\u2019s from a respected family in the
\ncommunity, has a wife and 3 kids.<\/p>\n
At first he said he accidentally hit her
\nwith his car and buried her out of fear.<\/p>\n
His alibi proves false. He knocked her
\nout, violated her and murdered her.
\nAnd he gets put in prison for life.<\/p>\n
Sadly in this world, that the Catholics
\ncall the veil of tears, nowhere is
\ncompletely safe.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s heartbreaking and beyond tragic
\nthat so many women and girls are
\nbrutally taken out of this world.<\/p>\n
