Despite all the evil in the world,
\ngoodness abounds.
\nDespite the murders, the rapes,
\nthe pedophilia, goodness abounds.
\nAt times when I feel down about it
\nI remember goodness abounds.
\nBut I often wonder why we have
\nto have so much evil in this world,
\nwhy evil also has to abound.
\nBest I can do, is just try to accept
\nthe world for the way it is, and
\ntake heart in what I see is not
\nforever. When death comes, none
