Though she was ungrateful for all I did for her,
\nand walked away despite my kindness to her,
\nI wonder if she is okay now.<\/p>\n
I wonder if after her being gone for 11 years
\nif she is still alive and doing well,
\nor if she is in a bad relationship
\nor entirely alone and miserable. <\/p>\n
I don\u2019t carry the torch for her. <\/p>\n
Leaving me was for the best for both of us.<\/p>\n
I wish her no ill will and hope the 11 years
\nhave been good and happy for her.<\/p>\n
She had been a forgotten part of my life
\nuntil today when I briefly thought of her
\nand felt a little concern about what might
\nhave happened to her, if her life might
\nhave gone badly and hoping it had not.<\/p>\n
As I end this poem, my thoughts of her
\nare ending too with a final hope that
\nher life has gone well and that she is ok. <\/p>\n
