I\u2019ve met many women in dreams.
\nEver hear of Marilyn Monroe?
\nNever met her in a dream, lol.
\nAlways unknown women,
\nnever erotic, sometimes romantic.
\nErotic could mean a succubus \u2013 egads!
\nJust as things start to go somewhere
\nlike a caress and a kiss, I wake up,
\nas if in dreams I\u2019m striking out, lol.<\/p>\n
To give an amateur interpretation
\nOf those women in my dreams,
\nmaybe somewhere in my muted depths
\nI\u2019m a repressed romantic with
\nromantic notions sometimes
\nsurfacing in my nightly slumbers.<\/p>\n
When I first had a blood cancer,
\nthat was trying it\u2019s damnedest
\nto take me out, I began having
\ndreams of women galore
\npractically every night.
\nI wondered if they were
\nangels hovering around me
\nto guide me into the afterlife,
\njust in case the cancer
\nkilled me.<\/p>\n
After the cancer went into remission,
\nI rarely had dreams of women.
\nexcept an occasional romantic
\ndream of an alluring one.<\/p>\n
