When I was a child

grasshoppers were a phenom
\nthe way they could jump<\/p>\n
the way some of them
\ncould fly a bit<\/p>\n
I cannot remember the
\nfirst time I saw one<\/p>\n
I kind of wish I could
\nretrieve that wonder<\/p>\n
recapture that amazement
\nremember that joy<\/p>\n
but I\u2019m an old man now
\nand such memories are gone<\/p>\n
amazing childhood moments
