When I was in grade school and high school
\nteachers always told me and my classmates
\nfighting is wrong, don\u2019t do it.<\/p>\n
At some point, I became aware of all the adults
\nfighting wars and found what the adult teachers
\nsaid to be hypocritical.<\/p>\n
Here they were setting a standard that grown ups
\nfailed to follow all over the world.<\/p>\n
Now many, many decades beyond childhood,
\nI stopped fighting ages ago when I was a young man,
\nbut I find it disturbing that adults are still fighting.<\/p>\n
I find it disturbing that we still have wars, and
\nadults are still fighting and even dying in wars
\nall over the world.<\/p>\n
And I wish when my teachers told me and my
\nclassmates fighting was wrong, don\u2019t do it,
\nthat adults all over the world took their advice.<\/p>\n
