Oh how I wanted to move to Thailand
\nnot for the women in the streets
\noutside the bars
\nor the drinking and the wild partying <\/p>\n
not to be a sex tourist
\nfar from those empty, carnal pleasures
\nexcept for the pleasures of
\na one and only true love
\nand many are the exotically
\nbeautiful Thai women<\/p>\n
though not a Buddhist, I wanted to see
\nthe Buddhist temples
\nand the Buddhist monks
\nand at that time I was interested in
\nMauy Thai, would have loved to
\nhave attended the fights
\nmaybe I would have bought a
\nphra kruang amulet<\/p>\n
never got there, went to the Philippines
\ninstead
\na beautiful Filipina changed my mind.<\/p>\n
