I watch a lot of true crime shows
\noften good people get murdered
\nin deadly marriages<\/p>\n
for example<\/p>\n
a good guy who\u2019s an upstanding citizen
\nand a Sunday School teacher
\nis married to a woman who is also
\na member of the church and
\nvolunteers for it<\/p>\n
it seemed they have a loving marriage
\ntogether for years with two kids<\/p>\n
the minister of the church, though married,
\nhad a roving eye for women
\nbehind his preaching and righteousness,
\nhe\u2019s chronically promiscuous<\/p>\n
he eventually woos and beds the good guy\u2019s
\nChristian wife, who seemed too proper
\ntoo good a wife for such unholy shenanigans <\/p>\n
the good guy husband suspected the affair
\nbut appeared to be talked out of his suspicions
\nby his wife and her minister paramour<\/p>\n
not long after that, the good guy is dead,
\nshot in the head
\nthe minister was the shooter,
\nthe wife an accomplice, in on the plan
\nmaybe the architect of it
\ntold the minister she wished her husband was dead<\/p>\n
insurance was the prize the wife wanted to win<\/p>\n
but to her shock and outrage, the good guy
\nperhaps knowing for sure
\nhis wife was cheating on him
\nchanged his beneficiary to his kids instead
\nof her<\/p>\n
the wife and the minister had been seeing each other
\nfor ten years behind the good guy husband\u2019s back
\nnow they\u2019re broken up and only seeing the bars
\non their prison cells.<\/p>\n
