I don\u2019t do traditional meditation now
\nI basically sit in surrender to the Absolute<\/p>\n
but decades ago I did Transcendental Meditation
\nfor many years<\/p>\n
until the k energy became overstimulated
\nfrom regular meditation for 10 minutes or more<\/p>\n
back then, two times I felt myself beginning
\nto leave my body through the crown of my head<\/p>\n
right up the kundalini pathway and to where
\nI had no idea<\/p>\n
both times, frightened, I pulled out of meditation
\nnot wanting to do what I thought was astral travel<\/p>\n
I\u2019d heard about cases where people got lost
\nin the astral planes and never got back<\/p>\n
I\u2019d heard about cases when a person who
\nastral traveled and came<\/p>\n
back to his body saw some kind of
\nnegative entity trying to occupy it<\/p>\n
because of these cases, I freaked out
\nnot wanting to chance those things<\/p>\n
even though those cases may not have
\nbeen factual<\/p>\n
supposedly many have astral traveled
\nwithout such things happening to them<\/p>\n
in retrospect, I should have just gone
\nwith those strange to me experiences<\/p>\n
I know now I wouldn’t have left my body
\nI would have experienced incredible<\/p>\n
expansions of my consciousness
\nand maybe a taste of cosmic consciousness<\/p>\n
as Gopi Krishna did when he had the same
\nrising out of the body experience<\/p>\n
though his path after that was perilous
\nhis k energy went up the wrong channel, pingala<\/p>\n
eventually he got his k energy up the right channel
\nsushumna and attained cosmic consciousness<\/p>\n
and spent the rest of his remaining years on earth
\nliving a blissful, enlightened life<\/p>\n
while I still live with a k awakening uncompleted
\nand have not attained the blissful, enlightened life.<\/p>\n
