In a dream last night
\nI\u2019m lying in bed
\nholding a woman
\nbut when I held her
\nher body felt more
\nwonderful to hold
\nthan any other
\nwoman\u2019s body
\nI was ever blessed
\nto have held<\/p>\n
we cuddled
\nwe kissed
\nI fell hopelessly
\nin love<\/p>\n
I had a vague
\nfeeling she might
\nhave been an ex wife
\nlong deceased<\/p>\n
that I left because
\nshe was always
\nout
\nI was always
\nalone
\nher the extrovert
\nme the introvert<\/p>\n
and I\u2019m not one
\nto go back with
\nsomeone that a
\nromance didn\u2019t
\nwork out with<\/p>\n
I awoke in the
\nsobering morning
\nlight, sort of
\nrelieved that I
\nhadn’t falling
\nin love with her
\nbut wondering
\nif I had been with
\nher ghost or spirit<\/p>\n
whatever the case
\nat least it was a
\npleasant experience
\nas opposed to an
\navenging ex\u2019s spirit
