Sometimes on my portable radio
\nI hear a children\u2019s Christian program
\nAdventures in Odyssey
\noccasionally I\u2019ve listened to it
\ndespite being an old adult
\nit takes me back to days of innocence
\nwhen life was less complicated
\nwhen responsibilities were few
\nwhen I made less mistakes
\nand lived a far purer life
\nthan in my misspent younger years
\nsixteen to twenty seven
\nand I find myself feeling a little
\ncloser to maybe an idyllic heaven
\ndespite listening to a radio program
