Li Po, where did you go?
\nDid you become one with the Tao,
\nor are you in some celestial, jade heaven
\nwhere dragons frolic, orioles still sing,
\nand beautiful maidens play the guzheng? <\/p>\n
in case this poem somehow reaches you
\nthrough the ether, I\u2019m a fan of your work
\nand would like to meet you in the afterlife<\/p>\n
maybe you could be my mentor there,
\nif you were so inclined or had the time
\nand teach me how to write great poems
\nlike you do \u2013<\/p>\n
or, at least, give me some tips
\non writing better poems
\nin the afterlife<\/p>\n
and, as for writing poems,
\nI hope wherever you are,
\nthat is something you still do<\/p>\n
