\ntook 180 animal skins to make
\n36 inches tall 29 inches wide
\nnearly 9 inches thick
\na lot of devil for a book
\na full page picture
\nof Satan himself inside
\nmaybe an advertisement
\ncuriously, blasphemously
\nit contains a full edition
\nof the Christian Bible
\nhow the hell did that get
\nin a Devil\u2019s Bible?
\nand why didn\u2019t Jesus
\nwho could walk on water
\nand cast out demons
\ncast the Devil out of it?
\nnobody knows who wrote it
\nthe unknown author
\nsupposedly made a
\npact with the Devil
\nwhen creating it
\nit\u2019s alleged to be cursed
\n(would you expect anything
\nless from a Devil\u2019s Bible?)
\nand will bring disaster or
\nillness to anyone fool
\nenough to possess it
\n(pun intended)
\nit\u2019s on display online at the
\nSweden National Library
\nbeen there, saw it
\nnow I\u2019ve got the pox
\nmy car has been stolen
\nflies invaded my home
\nthe devilish night hag sat
\non my chest last night
\nnearly suffocated me
\nand I dreamed I was in hell
\nall of the above seemed
\nfitting when messing with
\na cursed Devil\u2019s Bible
\nso do yourself a favor and
\ndon’t make the same mistake
\nas yours truly did
\nbeware of the Devil\u2019s Bible
\ndon\u2019t even look at it
\nit\u2019s a damn sight worse
\nthan a Ouija board.<\/p>\n

P.S. It occurred to me that
\nsomeone who doesn’t know me
\ncould think I was serious in
\nthis poem about the effects of
\nseeing the Devil’s Bible.
\nIt’s real and I did see it online,
\nbut I was kidding about side effects.

\nlose you ability to kid around, no
