I have thought about trying to live without
\na car many times.
\nBut the inconvenience always outweighs
\nthe convenience of having a car.
\nNow that I am older and see doctors
\na car guarantees I\u2019ll make appoments.
\nA tax cab might or might not provide that
\nsame guarantee based on my experience.
\nAnd I shudder at the cost of having a taxi
\nwait for me while I grocery shop.
\nAnd I worry about being like a shut in
\nif I had my groceries delivered.
\nSo I\u2019m still not car free like the many
