Saw a video about vanished downtown in a small town
called Cooleemee in North Carolina.
Yesteryear it was a mill town with over a thousand
workers until the mill closed and people left the town.
After which, the downtown folded. Now just a grassy field,
but, at least, the town didn’t become a ghost town.
Hopefully in the future there will be a
resurgence of Cooleemee with a revitalized new downtown.
