On a true crime show
a woman with a nice
voice and a sweet
Southern accent is
calmly explaining
why she couldn’t
have killed her
ex-husband who was
shot to death and
the police think it
was a family affair
since the family
hated the ex-husband
and their daughter
was in a custody
battle with him
for custody of
their two kids
I think to myself
the woman seems
too nice to have
participated in the
murder of her
husband even though
I know she did and I
know the police have
text messages between
her and her family
setting up the murder
of her ex and that
his new girlfriend
was more like
collateral damage
But I’m still thinking
she looks and sounds
too nice to be an evil
murderer but I know
she really is and it
baffles me how she
can look and sound
so nice yet be a
cold blooded killer.
And, as the police
proved her entire
family was involved
in the planning of
the murder and in
the cover up
And I think to myself
how could you people
be or become so evil
that you were okay
with murdering that
ex-husband and his
girlfriend sort of
by accident
At least they got
caught and went
to prison
Life in prison
for the daughter
and father
Life in prison
for the mother
with parole after
30 years
(She’ll probably
be dead in 30
old as she is)
10 years for the
son for hiding
evidence
