Bullied

I was teased in high school
A girly boy kids called me
I wasn’t as masculine
As my peers and was
A good but weak kid
A skinny teen by nature
I was easy prey for bullies
Graduated from high school
Got a job in a retail store
Worked out at a gym
Didn’t like lifting weights
Felt like I was still a sissy
Found the ultimate fix
Joined the elite Marines
To become a macho man
Six months later killed in Nam
Came home in a bodybag
