They’re dying off
becoming extinct
an entire generation
the known and the unknown
the famous and the infamous
reduced to bones in a boneyard
hardly even remnants
of their life histories
their successes and failures

eventually we’ll all be unknowns
no matter how famous today
or still famous from centuries ago
when enough time passes by
ten to ten thousand years
in eternity’s wink of an eye
fare thee well, bye bye
to you and to me, eventually.

I keep surrendering this
kundalini energy to God
for a sanctioned completion
yet that never comes
perhaps I’m surrendering it
to the wrong aspect of God
the finite Personal instead
of the infinite Impersonal.

in her YouTube video
watching and listening
I fall into a relaxed, semi-trance
the soothing sound of her voice
her hypnotic hand movements
and I remember how soothing
a woman can be to a man’s soul.

dropping from the sky
explosions and devastation
screams and cries
the dead and
wounded everywhere
the cost of war
the price too high
image how exorbitant
it will be with nukes.

Screw dating being about love
money is her bottom line
her nonnegotiable requirement
to be deemed even remotely
worthy of her mercantile amore
if you’re a moderate income
nice guy you’re unacceptable
if you’re a rich SOB, you might be
but between you and me and
maybe her if she’s listening
she’s a bad investment
for your non-monetized
precious, no nonsense love.

The Bigfoot sightings
keep increasing
you could say
it’s just nonsense
but could over 75,000
people be mistaken,
pranksters or liars?
the sheer volume
of the numbers
suggest there’s
something real here
perhaps something
that can appear and
disappear at will.

Stories about monsters
dangers everywhere
turn on the tv
read the news
no where is safe
one day a monster might
get you or me
the wrong place
the wrong time
or merely random
a random shooting
a break in
an attack on the street
on a bus or a train
in a church or restuarant
even in a store
by one of the monsters
monsters that are men
sometimes women.

She was beautiful in all ways,
inwardly, outwardly, compassionately.

She worked as a teacher, making a
difference in the lives of children.

A devout Catholic, one day she went
to mass, as she always did

and never returned home, which was
unlike her.

The truth is when she went into that
church, she never came out.

And maybe you have already figured
out what happened to her.

She was murdered by the priest, probably because
he raped her and tried to cover up his infamous crime.

What bothers me even more is how could this happen
to such a devout and caring woman?

But, alas, even with the God loving, evil often comes
for them and without any Divine protections.

Sure you were beautiful, far more than
most beautiful women.

I’d even add breathtaking and
hearbreakingly beautiful.

But when you opened your luscious lips
and the ugly words came out,

all the beautiful evaporated into
an ugly mess.

A mob pelted police in New York City with snowballs,
some with ice in them,

which injured at least one police officer, and the
police not arresting anyone made them look weak.

The new mayor,Zohran Mamdani,not backing the police,
said it was just kids having a snowball fight.

Obviously, he was lying and showing he had
no use for the police and will probably defund them,

as is the modus operandi of left-leaning politicians
of his ilk.

Mark my words, this is just the beginning of worse
things to come for the once great New York City.
