Ten Feet Tall Aliens With Transparent Bodies and Glowing Blue Eyes

Aliens with Transparent Bodies and Glowing Blue Eyes

They came offering peace and with the promise
of making planet earth a better world.

Their appearances were bizarre and unsettling,
ten feet tall, transparent bodies and glowing blue eyes.

They had supernatural powers of persuasion
that convinced governments to believe them.

At first they were heralded as heroes who miraculously
brought peace to the planet.

All was well for two amazingly wonderful years
for all humans and nations

until millions of their reinforcements descended on the planet
and disarmed all the guns and the nukes

and began slaughtering and carving up humans
for tasty meals and gourmet treats.

When they left the planet after years of
gorging themselves on billions of humans,

the few humans who survived their genocidal feasts
prayed they’d never return.

Supremely Fit

He worked out for years and had near zero body fat.
He ran triathlons and was supremely fit.
He was strong like a bull and muscled like a god.
He seemed bulletproof invincible to anything
that could harm or take anyone else out.
His diet seemed perfect, never ate any junk food.
Yet, he died young of a massive heart attack.
Sometimes living a long disease-free life
is more about luck than determined intentions.

Bodies Designed to Withstand Sub-Zero Temperatures

They eat mostly fats and rarely vegetables or fruits;
that suggests they should have heart problems,
but their bodies have adapted genetically
and they have some of the healthiest hearts on earth.

They’re bodies are stocky with short arms and legs
which makes their bodies more resistant to cold.
They thrive in the cold with a metabolism that is designed
to withstanding sub-zero temperatures at deadly levels.

They are the Inuit, the indigenous people of the arctic.

He Always Thought Women Were Angelic

When Mark was growing up, he always thought women
were angelic.

They seemed above the follies and the violence
of men.

As he grew older he met some women who
challenged his belief.

But he wasn’t dissuaded until he met the woman
he thought was his first true love.

Her name was Hannah Flores and she was beautiful
and seemed incredibly nice.

Their courtship was as romantic and loving as scenes
out of a romantic movie.

After a year of marital bliss, Mark didn’t see what was coming
when Hannah took out a million dollar insurance plan on him.

Shortly after that he saw the evil in her eyes when
the darkness in her soul came out.

And he realized he was wrong about all women
being angelic.

Right before a shot rang out and he gasped and
fell to the ground dead.

The guy that she’d been seeing held the
smoking gun.

And maybe Mark went to heaven where
the real angelic women live.

Your Impermanence

Your time is running out
but you don’t want to
think about your upcoming
one way ticket departure
from this tenuous world

sometimes you feel like
you are here forever
except when you wake up
for brief moments and
ponder your impermanence

I don’t blame you one bit
I’ve been the same way
for much of my life

who wants to think of dying
who wants to go to the grave
who wants to think of such
dreadful, depressing things

when you would like to
live forever and die never
especially if everything is
going great in your life

Spring and You

Spring is peeping through the month of March.
It yawns as it begins to wake up from frosty seasons.
It begins to stretch as flowers prepare to bud and bloom
and leaves are getting ready to decorate the trees
and the earth is becoming beautifully renewed.
It reminds me of when we first fell in love
and everything was so wondrous and new.

Enter Owlman

On April 17, 1976 Owlman made his frightening debut.
Two young girls, Vicky and June Melling, saw him hovering above a church in a village in Mawnan, England.
And they described him as a feathered-bird man. It had pointed ears, glowing red eyes and large crab claws for feet.

It was seen again on July 3 by two other young girls, Sally Chapman and Barbara Perry. Big as a man with glowing eyes and pincer-like claws.

Sparse sightings of Owlman in and around that village church continued through the 70s, 80s and 90s.

In June of 2020 a husband and wife said while driving on Kirchoff Road in Rolling Meadows, Illinois USA, they saw a creature as big as an SUV with large massive wings they described as an owl man.

Now I’m not a believer in an Owlman, but I find these stories fascinating and a fun distraction from the routines of everyday life.

Of course, it might be that cryptids like Owlman are real and appear and disappear in dimensions inaccessible to us. Bigfoot, for example, could be an interdimensional creature when hunters who allege to have seen him say when they shot at him he vanished.

Cryptids, real or unreal, monsters or imaginations, I’ve never seen any of them.

I’ve seen enough monsters among men.

In Brazil a Monster in Human Flesh Beat a Woman to Death and Threw Her Corpse off a Building

I’m on a news site and I see
a man chasing a woman
in a parking lot garage
in Brazil.

She runs into an elevator
and for a moment seems
to escape from him.

But that bastard gets
into the elevator and
beats her to death
as the elevator rises.

He picks up her corpse
carries it out of the elevator
and throws it off the building.

I think that this POS
should be put to death
for killing that woman
who is his ex wife.

Later I think that men
who can’t let go of a women
who don’t want them
are monstrous assholes.

Then I learn “nearly 3
women are killed by their
intimate partners every day.”

And I get pissed off at
these assholes, and my
heart breaks for all
those women who
just wanted to be loved

and had the misfortune of
finding deadly love with
monsters in human flesh
and I hope those monsters
lives become a living hell.

If the Earth Stopped Spinning

The earth keeps spinning
I keep living and
thinking on it
oblivious to the turns
and it amazes me
that I cannot feel
all those rotations
minute by minute
day by day
year by year

and it amazes me
that nobody gets dizzy
from that constant spin
and I wonder if the earth
will ever stop spinning
and what would happen
if it the earth ever did

would we all freak out
would the earth fall apart
would the weather
become unbearable
or completely unlivable

and if it did stop turning
like spinning a top
would God restart
the spinning back up

or would aliens rescue us
and with advanced tech
refire the spinning

I write that because
some people think
aliens invented us
and others think
they watch over us

meanwhile the earth
oblivious to my thoughts
keeps on spinning

Driving Along Elm Street in Greensboro, NC

Driving along Elm Street in Greensboro, NC past Fisher Park,
I hear the old song The Love I Lost on the radio by Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes.
I sigh and think of lost loves and missed opportunities with desirable women.

I think about lost loves for a moment then forget about them.
Instead I wonder what might have been with the missed opportunities,
like when I was a teenager and that pretty girl kept gawking at me
next to our high school as she stood with other girls in front of the little store.

I smiled and asked her what was wrong because of the way she stared at me.
She said, “Nothing,” and I was too dense to see that she was into me,
and I wonder what would have happened if I’d been more aware
of what she was thinking and if we’d gone out together.

Would she have been the one I’d have nuptial bliss with one day?
Would she have been the one I would have been with forever?

In retrospect, I wish I had reacted to her with romantic intentions,
asked her out, brought her flowers, eventually declared my love for her,
gotten married to her in a little church, maybe in the country,
and loved her and cared for her for the rest of my life and been with her now.

Dead Squirrels in Trees

Squirrels busying themselves
on the ground and in trees
chattering and chirping
as they roam their territories
scurrying quickly on the ground
adeptly navigating in the trees
even tightroping telephone wires
keeping vigilant against cats
and any other predators
watching their activities
I wonder why I’ve never seen
a dead squirrel on the ground
stretching my mind a bit
I wonder if grieving squirrels
bury their dead in the trees

Thinking About a Deceased Ex Wife of Long Ago

Sometimes I wonder where you are today,
if you’re okay and in a heaven in the afterlife.

I think about how we didn’t work out.
You were too much of an extrovert.
I was too much of an introvert.
You were the restless butterfly always compelled to socialize.
I was the content homebody compelled to stay home most of the time

You preferred small talk and never indulged in deeper conversations.
Being a bit philosophical, I preferred deeper conversations once in a while.

But we had everything in common when it came to the loving, and I often remember those sweet ecstasies we passionately shared.

But we didn’t work out and now you’re dead and I almost was when a cancer tried to take me out a few years ago and failed.

Here’s hoping we meet in the afterlife, and though we wouldn’t be soulmates; maybe at least we could be soul friends in that radiant world.

Here’s something else I’m hoping for, meeting my soulmate there too, and I hope you’ve met yours there already, if soulmates really exist, if romantic love prevails in the afterlife and those who
don’t find their soulmates on earth, find their eternal soulmates there.

Isn’t It Lonely Together

At first there were so many I love yous
she could hardly count them,
But as the years passed by
the I love yous became nil.

She was dying from a lack of affection
and being taken for granted.
He was more interested in drinking with friends
while she stayed home alone.

Then one day she heard a country western song
entitled Isn’t It Lonely Together
and she knew what she had to do.
She left him a note that read I’m gone
and because we don’t have a relationship anymore,
and I’m tired of being so unloved and alone.

He tried to coax her back, but it was too late.
He said he would kill himself if she didn’t come back.
She called his bluff and stayed strong and free of him.

After that, he often got drunk and picked up stray women,
one night stands who never got involved with him.
She was more careful, took her time to find another
love and eventually found a good, attentive man,
got married and had a loving husband for the rest of her life.

Bob Boyd

She Was Like a Radiant Lily Flower

She was like a radiant lily flower
She had that kind of shining beauty,
cornflower blue eyes and luxurious blonde hair,
wavy and below her shoulders
that could make a man gasp at the sight of it.

For two teenage summers she was my girlfriend
and we vowed one day we would get married.
But I should have known it would never last.
I was from the working class. My father worked in a factory.
She was from the middle class, her father an executive.

She was off to college. I didn’t have the grades or the money.
She became a homecoming queen. I became a jilted wreck.
when she left me for a rich college kid with the right pedigree.
Lived my life like a crazy man after that, not caring about anything.

Took me years to put the pieces of my heart back together.
I wasn’t as strong back then as I should have been, as I became with the years
and the knowledge that must people have broken heart moments
and disappointments as they travel on the mystery tour of this uncertain life.

From a Catholic Girl to a Black Magic Witch

She told me she was a black magic witch.
She said she had demonic familiars
that she could unleash on anyone
who met with her displeasure

I knew her when she was a Catholic girl,
always sweet and devoutly religious.
I wondered what went wrong with her
until I learned that madness ran rampant in her family.

I was saddened but not entirely surprised
when she had a psychotic break with reality
and had only imaginary black magic powers
minus any demonic familiars.

I never saw her after the break down,
never heard a word about her as if she vanished
and I often wonder what happened to that
formerly sweet and devout Catholic girl.

Bob Boyd

Illusive Lasting Love

Too many loves that didn’t work out
plagued her life with sorrows and disappointments.
Two marriages that after years ended in divorce,
controlling men who turned out to be insufferable.
After decades of never finding lasting love
at seventy years of age she gave up on men and love.
Spent her final years with grandchildren and watching TV
to try to fill her elderly years with substitutes for romantic love.
But sometimes when she was alone and away from her grandchildren
and nothing good was on TV, she’d feel a stirring, a need for romantic love.

Brianna’s Magic

Brianna had a special kind of magic
the way she could make people shine
with the power of her praise.

Like Christmas lights turned on

Even old Mrs Guttenheimer, who rarely ever smiled,
glowed when Brianna complimented her.

She had the greatest interpersonal skills

But she let everyone down when she became a con artist
and scammed friends and rich investors out of millions.

Now she’s in San Quentin despite her interpersonal skills
that didn’t save her from a long prison sentence.

That Other Person and Cosmic Bliss

You go through your life
as if you’re on earth forever
you forget that
you’re only here temporarily
and that at any moment
what happens only
to other people
can happen to you

until that day arrives
when you are that
other person
and a tragedy strikes
and you find yourself
in a hospital bed
for the first time in your life
except when you were born

and the truth hits you
like a sledgehammer
that you are clinging to your life
like you never imagined

and you wake up
to your impermanence
in this unpredictable world

and you start praying
fervent foxhole prayers
hoping God will somehow
spare your tenuous life
before the lights go out

and you are no longer
the other or any kind of person

and maybe if the
wondrous near death
experiences reports
are really true

you become alive
in the eternal afterlife
and meet the real you
imbibing the cosmic bliss
of unending unconditional love

A skylark sings songs while it flies
I wonder what it’s singing about
Maybe the fun and the freedom

Above the earth liberated from gravity
Above the planet’s cares and concerns

Girolamo Savonarola (1452-1498)

You might never have heard of me
That’s why I’m here
A 15th century pope tried to
Erase me from history
Because I was opposed
To the sinful excesses
In 15th Century Florence, Italy
I fought the good fight with
My bonfire of the vanities burning
Objects denounced as occasions of sin
Vanity items, mirrors, dresses,
Cosmetics, musical instruments
And more that tempted one to sin.
For my pure and Christian efforts
And my justified defiance of
Licentious Pope Alexander the VI
I was excommunicated and
Hanged to death, my body
Burned to ashes in
Florence Square.

just maybe those who
who don’t find their

find their soulmates

calm down and accept

Fall of a Powerhouse Guru

I was living near Harvard U
when I sped a handout
about a meditation group
run by a famous guru
it was at Harvard U
but open to the public
7 pm on a Thursday

met a tall blonde-haired
guy named Woody there
who ran the group
seemed like a kindred soul

I said, “Where’s the guru?”
he said, “in Europe, but
you will feel his presence
when the meditation starts”

I wondered if he was just
saying something akin to
he’ll be here in spirit but
you won’t feel a darshan

they had a photo of the
guru on a table between
two burning candles

at 7 pm kaboom! the room
lit up with phenomenal
pease and incredible bliss

I got more blitzed than
I’d ever been before
from any spiritual method
I’d ever tried

Woody told me followers
of the guru would feel his
spiritual energy blasting
into them every night
and waking them up

I went back to that group
a few more times
one time after the
guru’s energy blasts
I was driving home
and was so spiritually
high that when the
muffler fell off my car
it didn’t matter

my consciousness was
so stratospherically high
that what would have
bothered me no end
didn’t matter one bit

I was beyond most
earthly cares

one night I meditated
on the guru’s photo
saw him in a dream
he touched me on
the top of my head
I think as an invitation
to become a follower

I never became one
he demanded celibacy
and I was too much a
romantic to forego that

surprisingly, shockingly
years later that uber
powerful guru got caught
up in sexual scandals
like many gurus who
came to america

most were impressive
but predatory with
young women

after reading about
so many of those
charismatic gurus
preying on so many women
I left eastern spiritual
practices and never
returned

and know
most everyday
unknown nice
and humble
women
are far better
than her

and I despise
people who
think they’re
better than
everyone
else
and they’re
usually
worse then

Trantaloid Consummation in Forbidden Park

Edward met her in the dark in Forbidden Park
While taking a walk on a cool, Spring night.

He ignored her when he saw her approaching;
He didn’t want her to think him a predator.

She had no fear of him and said hello
With a beautiful smile and inviting eyes.

Her beauty, magnetic and irresistible drew him in.
They sat on a bench and talked and talked.

Sitting on that bench, he fell deeply in love.
And she made moves he couldn’t resist.

They moved off the bench, became locked in love,
Hidden from any passerby, secluded in underbrush.

When she was done with him, completely sated
To his shock, she began shapeshifting into

Her real form, an alien with a triangular head
Multifaceted eyes, elongated limbs, 8 feet tall.

A dreaded praying mantis-like trantaloid
Whose mating habits resembled the insect.

She consumed a shocked, screaming Edward
Leaving not a trace of his digested remains.

That was on an inauspicious night in June of 2002,
And Edward’s fate remains an unsolved mystery.

Sparrows in Space

Mysterious Cosmic Waves That Sound Like Birds Chirping in Space, the headline read.

His eminence Doctor Magnificence and renown Remote Viewer Extraordinaire disputes the Cosmic Waves part.

“Cosmic Waves, my third eye!” he exclaimed. “They’re interstellar interdimensional sparrows. Any remotely viewing second sight gifted fool could see that.

“If it flies like a sparrow, chirps like a sparrow; it’s a sparrow!”

“Bigshot NASA’s Magnetospheric Multiscale satellites don’t know what they are buzzing about. They can’t see what I can clearly see.

“It’s interstellar sparrows interdimensional mating season 62,000 miles from earth. Sure, Hubble can see about 76 trillion miles away, but it can see the unseen cloaked in the sparrows’ dimension.

“So catch up NASA with your MMS’s. Come see me when your puny satellites can see with interdimensional clarity.”

I Could Take Care of You Better than an Older Woman

I met her at an online international dating site.

She was an extraordinarily beauty from the Philippines,
too young for me but extremely persistent.

She said she’d be better for me than an older woman as I aged.

“I could take care of you better,’ she said, “A woman your age
could get too sick to take care of you when you both were older.”

It was nice to hear that she wanted to take care of me,
if ever I needed any care, but, frankly, I never wanted anyone
to take care of me, and I don’t to this day and never will.
I’d rather be dead.

Despite my reservations, I fell in love with her and she
waited two years for me to join her in the Philippines,
where we got married a few months later.

After four years in the Philippines with her,
I brought her to America to give her
a better chance for a new life out of the poverty she
had lived in all her life.

A year after that, she took care of me by leaving me
for more stuff like some of her Filipina friends who had
married guys with more money.

I kinda swore off women after that and haven’t been
with one in ten years. And I still don’t need one
to take care of me and never will.

My Friend, the Black Cat

When I go downstairs from my second

meow, meow, meow, meow ….

I look down to my right and see
under the blinds and through

a black cat calling me,
his paws stretching against the glass.

I smile and I say, “Hi kitty,” and
put my hands against the glass on
the other side, as if touching
his stretched out paws.

He only does this when his owner

And I enjoy his once in awhile

Foxhole Prayers

I heard a term today
that I hadn’t heard before,
Foxhole Prayers.

I knew immediately
what it meant.

Years ago, no decades
ago, I heard it referenced
in the expression, “There
are no atheists in foxholes,”
referring to the terrors of
possibly dying from an
enemy bomb or bullet
while hunkered down
in a fox hole during a war.

It also brought to mind,
the near death experiences
of some atheists I read about.

In their NDEs they felt they
were in hell. And their
descriptions of demons
and people screaming and
crying and trapped in hell forever
were exactly like one would
think hell would be like.

I can’t say if their experiences
were absolute proof of a hell.
I can say they
prayed foxhole prayers,
and Christ appeared to them
in Light or in Spirit and
whooshed them out of
those hellish experiences.

From a True Crime Show

She was a lovely woman
and a veterinarian.

She met a bad man
who was a doctor and
a shyster.

He was an egotist
and thought
he was a godsend to women.

At first the veterinarian saw
through him, but surprisingly
she eventually ignored
his many red flags
and fell in love with him.

The doctor had a court date
for stalking and harassing
an ex-girlfriend.

The veterinarian had a
court date with an ex-husband
for the custody of
their two daughters.

Somehow, inexplicably,
the doctor convinced the
veterinarian to hire a hitman
to kill her husband and
his girlfriend.

They lined up a hitman
and met with him. Fortunately,
he was an undercover cop,
and they both got arrested.

When the veterinarian got out
on bail, she took an elevator
to the top of a tall building
and jumped off it to her death.

I believe if that evil doctor
never came into her life
she would never have
considered killing anyone
and would be alive today.

Sometimes you have to be
so careful about who
you let into your life.

They usually won’t try to get
you to kill someone,
but they can be toxic
to your wellbeing
and your life.
