The sun has risen
and she’s reminded
of the risen Christ
both shining brightly
on a sin ridden world
both heralding a
glorious new day
despite the horrors
despite the suffering
plaguing this planet
the shining sun and
the risen Christ
guiding lights
rays of hope in
the ever-present
darkness in this
spinning world
