An Ant Afterlife

Maybe it’s a minor thing.
Maybe it’s a foolish thing.
But I don’t like the idea
of ants or any lifeforms
just dying and ending
forever.

But, it could be my
thoughts on this matter
are moot because maybe
even humans die and
are ended forever.

Though after reading and
listening to many NDE’s
(Near death experiences)
I find human life ending at
death implausible and see
death as a continuation
in the afterlife.

And maybe we all come
back to this life as the
Hindus and others claim.

And if reincarnation is
factual, it may be that
even when ants die, they
incarnate to higher life
forms.

I like the thought of that.
An equality for all sentient
entities.

I’ve read some believe even
insentient things reincarnate
into sentient life forms and
eventually reach total
liberation.

I like the thought of that
even more.
