Upon being arrested
a woman said she was
too hot for jail.
In theory she was right.
She did look too hot to
be confined.
Her looks probably granted
her privileges elsewhere that
less hot women didn’t have.
But, sadly, her actions
cancelled out any privileges
her hotness could have afforded
her.
Sadder still is a woman with her
advantageous looks got herself
into a bad situation
and thought her looks protected
her from the penalties that apply
equally to us all.

Always researching for many of my poems and because of my unquenchable thirst for knowledge.
