Her girlfriends called her Anna Bobanna;
It made her and everyone laugh,
She was a natural born comedienne
And quite a bit more than that.
She saw her comedy as a form of Service.
Every night on stage she gladdened many hearts
With laughter and lots of happiness that eased their woes,
And made them see that laughter truly healed hearts.
Anna Bobanna may not have been a Catholic Saint,
But she could have been with all the hearts she healed.
