Once a police officer said to me,
“I don’t trust anyone.”
I thought that was extreme
until i watched many true crime shows.
Then I realized why he felt that way
and why it was justified.
Priests, ministers, doctors, lawyers, politicians
have all committed homicides.
Of course I’m not say all those professionals
turned out to be murderers.
But, astonishingly, some, perhaps many,
over the years – have.
Then there are many seemingly nice people
seemingly incapable of killing anyone
who have killed or had others killed.
Now I can see that were I a policeman and
seen what that policeman saw over the years,
I wouldn’t trust anyone either.
