He loved his dog,
but of course
he loved his
wife more.
A few years
later his wife
no longer loved him
and left him for
another man.
His dog remained
faithful and stayed
with him until
his dog died.
Sometimes a dog
is better
more loving,
more truthful,
more faithful
than a spouse.
