My Take on Timothy Treadwell, the Passed Away Grizzly Man

I can understand the lure of hanging out with bears unharmed by them.
It must have been the greatest adventure of Timothy Treadwell’s life.
I would have liked to have been able to hang out with bears like he did,
but I’d be too afraid of being killed by one, as Timothy Treadwell was in 2003.
However, it was remarkable that he survived for about 13 years among them.
Some have described him as eccentric, reckless, and deeply flawed.
They are probably right, but from watching videos of him,
I also see him as a well meaning, gentle soul who truly cared for bears
whose caring and concern for them sadly got him killed by one.
RIP Timothy Treadwell. I hope you’re in a place where humans can safely hang out with bears in mutual peace and blissful harmony.
