She was brilliant
had two degrees
and civic awards
eventually tiring
of academia
she became an
outdoors woman
hiking in challenging
environments
in the untamed wilds
with her kindred
spirit boyfriend
on one occasion
taking a break
from her boyfriend
she went hiking
by herself
sadly had a
deadly misstep
her body broken
and dead at the
bottom of a gorge
all that she had
attained
all that she was
tragically gone.
