He used to have a
high paying job
at thirty years of age
had loads of money
to blow on many things
blew it all on alcohol
and on many drugs
got hooked on those
destructive habits
eventually on fentanyl
now he lives and sleeps
on Kensington Avenue
and he hasn’t got long
he’ll die there before
he sees age thirty-five.
