Good Days

Good days,
cherish them
while they last.

Eventually
they go bad.
Sometimes
worse than
you ever
imagined
how bad a
day could be.

A car crash.
A cancer.
Death of
a loved one –
a son, daughter
brother, sister
a husband or
a wife.

Eventually
the good days
come back,
but those days
never last
forever.
Eventually
they’re all
gone when
you die.

But maybe,
just maybe,
you get
good days
forever in
the afterlife.
