Sadhu

He traveled to India to meet the brilliant-eyed sage
Whose force-field, palpable energy magnetized him,
Who told him the real him was beyond the mind
And showed him how to find his real, eternal Self.
After his enlightenment he left the material world,
And spent the rest of his life as a sadhu in India,
Who helped thousands of Indians and westerners
Seeking the truth beyond their transient lives.
