European honey bees have no defense against them.
1 Japanese Giant Hornet can kill 40 in a minute.
30 of them can kill 30,000 in under 4 hours.
20 to 40 humans are killed by them yearly.
They possess a uniquely deadly venom.
They travel in deadly swarms.
Did something diabolical have a hand in creating them?
Japanese honey bees have a defense against them.
They lure a hornet scout into their hive and trap it
and swarm it like a giant, moving ball covering it.
The velocity of the bees beating wings around it
increases heat so much they roast it to death.
The scout dead, the rest of the hornets not alerted.
The Japanese bees proactively save their hive
from a wholesale, savage devastation with
an amazing defense, like a great battle strategy.
But, God Almighty, those Japanese hornets are
so damn demonic and woe to anything or
anybody who gets too close to their nests.
