Panpsychicism

I like the theory of Panpsychicism,
everything having consciousness
to varying degrees.

I like it because everything animate
and inanimate in the universe has
an ultimate liberation.

Evolving from even stones, insects
animals et cetera to an eventual
liberation of eternal bliss consciousness
into the nondual Oneness.

I like the eternal equality for everything
in that theory.

Soul Hunters Banging on the Door in the Hallway Outside My Apartment

I heard a pounding
on the door in the
hallway outside
my apartment
a noisy interruption
to my Internet
reverie

After the pounding
ceased, I looked
outside my apartment
window facing the
street

And saw the soul hunters
an elderly man
who looked like a
minister and an elderly
woman
maybe his dutiful wife

I knew they had pounded
on the door to save what
they mistakenly thought
was my hellbound soul
to win another soul
for the Lord
I knew that they mistakenly
thought they were privy
to the only way
the key
to their heaven
that I’d been too
lost
too dumb
to comprehend

They wandered away
to save other lost
souls from the hell
they were headed for
especially if they were
of another religion
that guaranteed they’d
have a one way
ticket to hell

It was better I didn’t
answer the door
I’ve no time for
people who assume
they have the only
truth
the only way
that others
need to be persuaded
to follow

Hell’s bells
Soul Hunters
eluded

A Misuse Psychic Powers

She could read people’s minds
Discern their secrets
Expose their misdeeds
Blackmail them
Get rich doing it
A misuse of psychic powers
Lines of occult laws crossed
An offense to gods of the occult
A sacrilege to the sanctity of
Sacred spiritual gifts
On a full moon Halloween night
Her body consumed in flames
In her Park Ave apartment
Spontaneous Combustion
The report read
I know the gods of the occult
Destroyed her
And the Darkness that had
Ravaged her soul

An Epic Romance That Might Have Been

He sensed they could have been a wonderful match,
incredibly perfect for each other.
He loved her eyes, her hair, her voice, her figure,
her fashion sense, her ways, her expressions,
her jokes, her views, every superb thing about her.
She touched him once in passing to get by him,
electrifying, ecstatic, magical, momentous.
But, alas, to her, seemingly unaffected, it was just
a mere touch and nothing more.
He clearly saw they could have had an epic romance.
But, woe upon woes, she just couldn’t see it.
And what might have been, never was.

Ancient Egyptians Deactivated Statues of Pharaohs

Necks, waists, and feet broken.
Ritual deactivation of ancient
statues of pharaohs.
A ritual to ensure they had no
supernatural powers that
it was presumed statues of
dead pharaohs possessed.
Hundreds of deactivated statues
found at Karnak Cachette
from across centuries.
It must have been an effective
strategy. Far as I know, never
have any ancient Egyptian
pharaoh statues raised hell
on earth. But, I can envision a
blockbuster horror movie where
pharaoh statures that the
ancient Egyptians failed to
deactivate, with voices like
Darth Vader, destroy cities
and people with their stone-
cold paranormal powers.
And maybe the only way these
evil pharaoh statues would
be defeated is by invoking
Osiris the Egyptian god
associated with death. He
materializes from the
underworld and hunts them
down busting off their heads,
hacking their bodies in half at
their waists, and dismembering
their feet to deactivate them
and save the world. The movie
ends. The credits roll.
