Being Oblivious Has Its Merits

Being oblivious to the news and the terrible
stories in the news frees a person from
the tensions and the turmoil always
happening in the world.

It’s easier to be happy when not consumed
with all the negative news.

Perhaps fewer trips to doctors,
less high blood pressure and legitimate depression,
maybe less heart attacks and strokes too.

More blissful moments in ignorance,
less outraged moments,
more peace of mind.

A happier life without the truth,
probably dying peacefully in sleep.

The Strategy Is Simple

Import voters to steal elections
if you cannot sway the citizens
to vote for you.
Never mind the havoc caused
to the general public.
Never mind unvetted illegals,
just bring them in and don’t
think about public safety
and national security.
The votes. The power is
worth the inconveniences and
the deaths and rapes of
the inconsequential citizens.
