at least that’s I how I often felt, despite aging stealthily
creeping in, so stealthily it took years for me to see its
subtle erosions.
Years more for me to feel them. Now, an old man, the
yesteryear denials eradicated, the youth long ago gone,
the body wrinkled and weakened. And aging not satisfied
with just aging me, has called in the Reaper to finish me.
