I’m serious. For decades Hollywood
has slandered gorillas, making them
seem like murderous monsters that
slaughter humans without remorse,
while the real monsters, chimpanzees,
got a pass, chimps portrayed as gentle,
fun loving, incapable of harming anyone.
Tell that to the woman whose face got
lacerated by a chimp. Tell that to the man
whose fingers were bit off and his face and
torso were torn apart by two chimpanzees.
Yet, innocent Gorillas, who are mostly
vegetarians and will not harm humans unless
a human tries to harm them – self defense.
Or if a mother gorilla fears a human will cause
harm to her cherished offspring get crucified.
Thus, based on Hollywood’s slanderous portrayal
of gorillas in movies for decades, I propose
gorillas band together and file a class action suit
against Hollywood. And if they need a good
lawyer, I’d be glad to help them find one.
