but he thought he could make it work;
he gave in, gave in, and gave in,
yet things just kept getting worse no
matter how hard he tried to please her,
no matter how much he gave in. In the
end she left him anyway
but, lesson learned, he was never a fool
for a woman again
and when she wanted to get back with him,
he said no for his final escape, free from her –
forever.
